What is DUFH?
We are an organization focused on improving healthcare in Haiti. We are doctors, scholars, expert practitioners and administrators dedicated to helping solve Haiti’s healthcare crisis through collaborative educational and training initiatives.
By joining with both governmental and non-governmental (NGOs) healthcare organizations in Haiti, DUFH members and partners come together with a common goal of improving healthcare practices, procedures and policies.
DUFH’s network of healthcare professionals, who are expert in their area, bring fresh ideas and innovation to their partners in Haiti in order to bring transformative change to long term, quality patient care in Haiti.
DUFH’s Work
DUFH was founded in 2006 by Dr. Sidney Coupet. Since then, healthcare volunteers have been assisting hospitals, clinics, villages, and Haitian healthcare professionals throughout Haiti in the delivery of health care and public health initiatives.
DUFH is also working with the Haitian diaspora in America and others to provide healthcare to patients in Haiti through a unique, revolutionary process called SPARK.
In addition, DUFH.org is a resource for everyone interested in sharing their research, knowledge, and innovative practices through DUFH’s on line journal, which is available to those who become members.
Please consider sharing your talent, time, or knowledge with us. Join in our efforts and together we can save Haiti.
